Greenlees Park Bowling Club is located in Concord, with Briars Sports Club being their home. The club has two immaculate greens, which are used for Club pennants & State competitions.

Bowlers representing Greenlees are known for their sportsmanship, hospitality and friendly social nature. Playing bowls for Greenlees provides an opportunity to not only play on well maintained greens, but also gain new friendship’s and most importantly, enjoy the game.

The Men’s competitions are held weekly on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The Men start their zone 11 Pennants competition in March for a duration of three months. Greenlees Park Bowls Club aim to fill every pennant grade from 1’s to 7’s.

Greenlees Park Women's Bowling Club have their weekly bowls day on Thursday morning at 8.30 am and have mixed social bowls games during the week.

Greenlees Park Bowls members are active in the bowling community, also organising special annual bowling events, such as Black Friday Bowls, Australia Day Patrons Day and Good Friday Bowls, which attract bowlers from the surrounding Sydney Basin and throughout the NSW region.

Since 2004, Greenlees Park Bowling Club have had a proud partnership with Burwood Diggers Bowling Club. Greenlees and the Diggers share facilities, social days and hold joint tournaments such as the Golden Slipper and Melbourne Cup pairs.
With Greenlees membership, combined with Burwood Diggers, the greens are always an active place throughout the week.

Greenlees Park Bowling Club History

Greenlees Park Men's Bowling Club was founded in 1950 and the Women's Bowling Club started in 1956.

In the 1970's and 1980's there were many interstate games played at the club with many of these being State Finals. Our Patron, Keith Free, marked one State Singles Final. The Right Hon William McMahon Fours began in 1969 and continued each year to 1979, with up to 132 teams playing (528 bowlers).

Between 1999 and 2003, the Keith Free Invitation Pair have been held here, with prize money of $10,000 attracting top bowlers from NSW and interstate.
